Sleep Disorders happen when the standard sleep cycle is interrupted. Ultimately, there are two sleep types. The first is referred to as "Rapid Eye Movement", or "REM". The second is referred to as "Non-Rapid Eye Movement", or "NREM". REM sleep happens at the earliest phases of the sleep period.
As time progresses, we enter the NREM sleep, which consists of four different stages. This is often the kind of sleep that one experiences sleep disorders.
When an individual senses a disorder that is related to the sleep, it means that they are unable to progress through the normal stages that occur. Here, we will take a glance at sleep disorders.
When a doctor is used to evaluate sleep disorders, there are several different patterns that are evaluated to learn if a problem exists. First, they will examine whether one can fall asleep easily. Then, they will decide if the individual experiences interruptions to sleep, and last, they will decide if the person wakes up too early and/or too late with accompanying symptoms, such as feeling tired, irritability, plus other types of signs of sleep disorders.
Once these patterns are accomplished, the doctor will then look see the person more intently, by way of a sleep journal or even a sleep disorders study, to determine which type of the many sleep disorders exists so that cure might be determined and administered. - 16036
